Bangin Prom

As both of us will be attending Senior Prom, we will know what to improve on for next year.

Graduation Venue

This year's Senior Caucus got Carnegie Hall, which is much nicer than our graduation venue in the past. However, Carnegie Hall limits us on seats. We plan to find a venue that would make for an amazing graduation and still have all the space we need.

Benches

Lately, the benches have been moved around and taken out of popular spots. We have several benches in the basement that are never used. We plan to bring them back, primarily on the second floor.

Birthday Board

We plan to have a huge a board with the names of everyone with a birthday that day. The board will include lots of space to write birthday wishes. *We should also announce teacher's birthdays because everyone deserves a special day.

SU Room Amenities

Printer: If you're printer broke and you can't get into the library before your big paper is due, you should be able to quickly print something out between classes.
Microwave: For those who can't afford to eat outside every day and want to bring something different than just another sandwich.

Student vs Teachers

It's our last year. Time to show the teachers who's boss. We plan to increase the amount of student - teacher competitions throughout the year.

Bathroom Improvements

This year, we added automated towel dispensers. Next year, we need to add Toilet Covers for all and Tampon/Pad dispensers for the girl's bathroom.

Exam Limit

We should not have more than 2 exams in one day. Just because teachers don't think their timing out, doesn't mean we should stress more.

Seniorify the Bar+Atrium

It's our senior year and EVERYONE should know that. We need to decorate the atrium and the bar and make it ours because it is.

Stuy Cubes

Remember those cool cubes we were shown in the walls during the open house tour. I have yet to find ours, but I know there's a log so it's really time to bring them back!

Countdowns

Always have a countdown until the next break, the next deadline, and the end of the year posted by the bar.

Senior Prank

It's a tradition everywhere but we always stand out. Time to think of a really clever one. No jumping in the pool, sleeping in the hall nonsense. Maybe a string of smalled pranks.

Spirit Day Photo Booths

We will implement a system where the whole grade can help come up with spirit days and vote on its date. On the day, we will have a photo booth in the atrium and volunteer photographers throughout. These photos can go in our yearbook, as well as, into a Senior Album.

Senior Trip

Most schools have a senior trip, why don't we. We can find a few options to go and vote on it.

College Trips

Fall: Start the year off making up for the lack of college trips this year
Spring: Why not have a few trips to help decide which college you're ready to commit to

SAP

SING is a stressful time for all of us, especially seniors (I mean we gotta put in a lot of effort to win by that much), so why not have a nice day outdoors to relax, unwind, and enjoy the win with the very first SING! After Picnic?

Coffee Mondays

Mondays are horrible and candy could make them better but free coffee would really make them a good start to your week.

Senior Merch

This year, the Senior Caucus introduced senior pins. We plan to continue this new tradition and introduce a few new forms of merchandise (to be sold in the school store). I mean who doesn't wanna embrace SENIOR YEAR.

HW-Free Thursday

Once a month, we deserve a thursday with NO homework so we can get some much needed sleep and get ready for our friday night 'study party'.

Random Free?

Do you have 2nd or 3rd free? Do you have a random free in the middle of the day? If yes to either, you should be able to go outside. You're a senior, good job for coming to school in the first place!

Better Interaction

This year, I noticed posts by the Senior Caucus much more often then the Junior Caucus so we plan to keep up the effort of the Senior Caucus and also implement a website with the same announcements for those who don't have a Facebook account.

Awards

Most likely to succeed, cutest smile, coolest hair. These all need to be rewarded cuz academic awards aren't the only thing that matter (shocker). So we plan to implement a way for anyone to nominate anyone but themselves for any award and if the grade agrees, they'll receive an award at the end of the year.

Fundraising

Stuy has lots of fundraisers through- out the year. Why not fundraise and find sponsors to help pay our senior dues and other expenses. Not everyone has the same financial capabilities and a lit senior year should not mean an expensive one.
